What a lovely place to stay for a few days! The facilities are excellent, you can drive in and out, and there are good instructions, including Dutch (Google Translate). There's a nice restaurant in the village, nothing wrong with that. However, be sure to bring all your groceries. I couldn't even find a bakery. Much of the area is charred due to large forest fires here in August 2025.

A barren, dry plain with no shelter whatsoever. And all this at a temperature of around 30 degrees Celsius. Very poorly signposted in the village: you simply drive past it.

nice place to stay an extra night wonderfully quiet, only a pity about barking dogs of residents in the area. but hey, nowhere is perfect, right?
