Aire Camping-Car Park de Sallertaine

ok camping area… fine town with tourist shops.. plenty of fine food options. single auto toilet (not my favourite things!)… subscription vamping card set up … need to register then pay €5 for the card (automatic delivery at gate) … then if you wish to use per booking for other sites etc then must take annual subscription! 🥲 ….. sad times … monetising aires is I guess inevitable.

According to camper contact, the price is € 10.14, but that is not correct (anymore). We paid € 16.20 but had to provide a mobile phone number and name and address. Then an account was created.

Parking space in a picturesque doll town full of studios and artists - but there is also a very good bakery here. 300m from the town center, very quiet. No excessive insect exposure despite proximity to swamps/canals. Marked pitches on fine gravel, Astra 1 satellite reception possible. V/E easily accessible, electricity in all places. Garbage and glass containers at the edge of the square. The village is definitely worth a visit!
