Camping Municipal Les Ruisses

Lovely site just across the road from the stunning lake. Super-friendly welcome. Modern facilities including a bar/restaurant/shop. Fresh bread and croissants every day. Plenty of trees offering shady gravel pitches. The gorges are only a short drive away where you can hire paddle boats and canoes. The beach on the lake is clean as is the water which was beautifully fresh and a lovely way to cool off in the 32 degree heat. Loved it.

We stayed here for a week and were given a large pitch because we had a trailer with motorcycles. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities are very clean and tidy. We received some tips and suggestions for activities. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Everything you'd expect from a municipal restaurant. Definitely not a 5-star establishment, but the price reflects that. 26 euros for 2 people. Small bar and restaurant. Simple menu but excellent value for money. Delicious pizzas too. Friendly and helpful staff. We'll remember this one.
