Welcome to the countryside! Our favorite spot between Nordhofen, Oberhaid, and Mogendorf—in the valley of the Kleine Saynbach stream in the Westerwald—offers you an idyllic retreat amidst meadows, forests, and a babbling brook. Enjoy the view of the forest and meadows directly from the former riding arena at the horse stable. The surrounding forest invites you to take relaxing walks and explore. Putting your feet up by the pond or watching the moles burrow—pure meditation. Despite its proximity to the A3 motorway, you can expect a quiet and secluded atmosphere in Kannenbäckerland. Shopping facilities and a home-cooked meal are within 2 to 6 km. Explore the region with its numerous hiking and biking trails, or visit the nearby ceramics town of Höhr-Grenzhausen, known for its pottery. Montabaur, with its old town and the FOC (Foundation of the City of Frankfurt), is also worth a visit.
