Along the Moselle you sometimes have more space with your camper van than at this campsite. Driving on and off the caravans in front of you is not without the risk of damage, very narrow entrance for a spot. Sanitary facilities reasonable. Lady at the reception not very customer friendly. The train to Heidelberg does not run until the end of October, but you can take the bus to Neckargemünd and then the train to the Altstadt.
lees meerWe spent 4 days here in sweltering hot weather by the river in the shade of the trees. Facilities including TOP restaurant. Also very friendly reception. Had no problems at all with the skating rink on the other side of Neckar. We paid €24.50 per night for 2 people plus €1.60 because we used slightly more electricity during these 4 days than was included in the standard price.
