We don't approve of the overnight tax of €3.50 per person per day. Best regards to the Heidelberg city administration.

Location very good, bike paths and tram nearby, relatively quiet, campsite very basic, cash only, price relatively high, toilets without paper or soap, only cold water, no heating, somewhat dirty, cleaning took place at 10 PM with a pressure washer (loud) and afterwards was very damp and musty. Electricity, water, and waste disposal included. Conclusion: Good for one night to explore the beautiful city.

The pitches are large, that's okay, what bothers me is the unnecessary overnight tax of €3.50 per person per day. There's a tram nearby; take line 26 to Bismarckplatz.
