Our farm is in a quiet, secluded location, away from traffic, so only a few cars drive by during the day. The famous natural stone quarry at Dasenstein in Kappelrodeck is about an 8-minute walk away. One of the most beautiful panoramic hiking trails in the region also begins just 8 minutes away on foot. The path leads through forest and vineyards and offers impressive views - on clear days even as far as Strasbourg, over Kappelrodeck, Waldulm and parts of the Achertal. The site is located about 100 m higher than the Rhine plain and about 1 km from the village center. It is about 60 m from our farm and can be reached via a very stable gravel path. Our small restaurant with 40 seats is open on Fridays from 5 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 12 p.m. Our speciality is the nette, which is a flatbread made from wholemeal dough with wheat and spelt, topped with cream, herbs, bacon and onions. There is a winery and a distillery on the farm. We produce my own sparkling wines, brandies, liqueurs and we also bake fresh bread.
