In itself a nice campsite with a friendly welcome (someone walks with you to find a spot). Lots of shade, but the pitches are quite uneven (we couldn't get the camper level with blocks). A great campsite for visiting Heidelberg (easily done by bike). We didn't find Heidelberg particularly interesting (can't help the campsite). The sanitary facilities are fine in themselves (clean and sufficient), but if you're renovating them, why have shower curtains...

Access road very narrow but manageable! Friendly welcome! We got two pitches next to each other with a view of the river and the village. Sanitary facilities with card system are spotless! Beautiful surroundings and good cycling to Heidelberg. The campsite is not cheap; we paid €83 for 2 nights, 2 people, camper, electricity, and shower.

This campsite is beautifully situated on the Neckar. Large motorhome pitches (hilly) and clean sanitary facilities. They are working hard to make it look nice. The reception has specific opening hours. The narrow road is perfectly manageable. I found this campsite a bit too expensive. Tip: Cycle to Heidelberg and take the boat back (bikes are allowed). The boat stops on the opposite side of the water and you then cycle back over the lock.
