Camping Walldorf Astoria

The campsite manager was extremely unfriendly. In temperatures of 31°C, the motorhomes were crammed together in a hostile manner. There was only about 1.5 meters of space between them. It was impossible to extend the awning or sit in the shade next to your vehicle. It felt like a third of the site was empty! When we pointed this out, we only received a curt reply: "You can leave now." This campsite: Never again!

Worthless and unfriendly manager. Deafening car traffic. Just don't do it.

We were here in early September; it is a good place for a stopover and to visit Heidelberg. Bus 720 stops in front of the campsite and the final stop is in the old center of Heidelberg, near the 1.5 km long shopping street. The photos still show the old sanitary facilities, but these have since been completely renovated.
