A pleasant surprise with a beautiful view despite the cloudy weather. Affordable without amenities in this expensive area.

Beautiful view of Lake Chiemsee. The food at the hotel is good and there are plenty of diners. The room is full, but the staff is indeed surly and unwelcoming, which is a real shame.

Two stars for the view. Place for motorhomes from 5 pm to 11 am, 15 euros to be paid in cash only. No cassette to dump, no dirty water to dump, no electricity. You can use the toilet in the hotel.
