Knaus Campingpark Nürnberg

parked here as free places full. very expensive €57 for MH, 2 people and dog. only one grey waste dump for whole site. pitches are all grass/mud. place was only 40 % full and only person to arrive after us was placed right next door to us

The campsite itself is fine. The restrooms stink terribly of urine. Reception is anything but friendly. After visiting Nuremberg, back at the campsite, there's a caravan parked in front of the spot we'd paid for. When we ask at reception, we're met with arrogant remarks, saying we'll get our money back and leave. €53, which is far too expensive for a campsite! We'd already had a few beers, so leaving wasn't an option. Never again!

Pleasant with suffice facilities for everyone even with site fully booked, that being said some toilets were out of action ( needing repair) and the rest would benefit from an industrial clean/ replacement as part of an upgrade the site deserves. Biergarten on site served good sized portions. easy bike ride into old town and very close to the football ground and the rally sites from the 1930’s.
