Medium-sized campsite, with a well-maintained entrance, full of flower boxes. The pitches are mostly on grass, with scattered trees. Because of the crowds, we stood on grass tiles, close to a noisy road. The campsite was mainly used for transit, but the Chiemsee and surrounding area is worth a visit. Excellent cycle paths around the lake, which were heavily used. Make sure you are on time!
lees meergreat place. we were here at the beginning of October. cycling around Chiemsee, counterclockwise, the first part is a bit boring. The sanitary facilities are good, a bit dated, but I think that's OK. Why throw away what still functions perfectly? Organic store around the corner.
In general a good campsite: Chiemsee is easily accessible by bike. Nice little stone beach (dogs are allowed too!). Sanitary facilities at the campsite were cleaned regularly and well, but one or the other shower would have to be renewed. Pitches with water connection and well. When it rains a lot, the ground is unfortunately very muddy. Nice owners, bread service available, nice inn with good food. 😊
