Now no longer free except on Sundays (€5 per day). No facilities, but a pleasant place to spend a night from the Netherlands on the way to Italy. Within walking distance to the center where there are some sights. Also nearby lakes for some relaxation, preferably by bike.

Now very little / no space, lots of construction noise and traffic in the morning. They are building up for the herbstfest which is August 26th (past) through mid-September. I would say, maybe from October guaranteed space again, although it will never be quiet here. There is free parking in a lively city, but keep in mind that residents also like to park here because it is free.
