Knaus Campingpark Viechtach

Sometimes the place is very noisy (very close to the federal highway) When we asked if we could have a quieter place, the staff did not respond. The staff were sometimes quite unfriendly.

A colorful mix of permanent campers and day visitors. Some of the campsites are a bit dated. Very dog-friendly. Beautiful surroundings and good walking and hiking trails.

People here take a lot of time to check in and out, so after the long lunch closure you will have to queue for a while. Once we found a place, a pleasant stay awaited us. All in all a great campsite. Not for notorious dog haters, I think. Lots of dogs here, but there are many special facilities for them. From dog showers, agility fields to specially fenced dog areas.
