Drove there without a reservation. Super nice reception. Clean sanitary facilities. Nice cycling between the vineyards. However, shops and supermarkets are only in Volkach. That is a 20 minute bike ride, so no problem. On the campsite a terrace for a drink and a simple meal. We were on the waterfront. There is a small beach where you can enter the water. Be careful with small children; it is very deep after two meters and there is quite a current.

For us 50'ers this is a great campsite! Super clean sanitary facilities (1 building is on legs (like more buildings in the floodplains) but there is another one next to it that is accessible without stairs. You are in the middle of the vineyards / villages and in a cycling and walking area. Places for a standard size caravan or motorhome are fine in my opinion. Uitspanning on the cmp is cozy with local and fresh products without fuss. Nice ferry next to the campsite!

Beautiful surroundings. Nice for cycling and walking. Friendly staff. Very small spots on the cp. Winegrowers drive quite fast on the central aisle of the cp. Dangerous for children and dogs. And 21 euros without water and without electricity is really too much for the tight spots. Not for us anymore.
