Neat campsite. We used the campsite. (2 persons, camper, electricity €31 per night) CPs are also available just outside the campsite. Lakeside location. Beautiful cycling area. Very nice city, easy to reach both by bike and on foot. Sanitary facilities neat.

Spacious pitches on stable ground. Quiet. Friendly reception. Beautiful old town with many half-timbered houses easily accessible on foot. Nice walking path around the Werratalsee signposted from the site. If you check in with the Knaus "Caravanien" program (QR code on the wall of the reception), the pitch only costs EUR 25,- all inclusive.

A lot of youth with loud music from early afternoon they walk with beer. Surely not recommended with children. It is a pity that the owners do not enforce the camping rules and have to apply the rest from a certain hour. Urgent need for maintenance! grass stands 20 cm high. Chewing gum all over the floor.
