Visited on August 8 and 9, 2023. Excellent overnight stay. Bakery Backstop Middendorf at 260 meters, open Monday-Friday from 05:30-13:00, Saturday from 05:30-12:00 and Sunday from 08:00-11:00. No facilities available, except garbage cans.
Great parking space, everything is within walking distance. Baker, restaurant and shopping. Very quiet at night. You can go for a walk with your dog in the adjoining park. You just have to be self-sufficient because there is no electricity, water or waste disposal.
At the back end of the parking spot is a large space for campers to stay for max. 24 hours. It’s more quiet then next to the street where you enter. No facilities but next to a park and the open air museum village. Next to the parking spot is bakery Bruno, where you can have a good assortment of breakfast and a toilet ;) They open at 06 or 07 o’clock in the morning (depending on which day). Perfect for a night over!
