WSV Drakenburg

Very helpful members of the watersports association. Sits are good and very affordable. Reservations are recommended, but then your spot is marked. Sanitary facilities in order

A lovely spot to stay for a while. You have to register and pay via a tablet. It sounds commercial, but it isn't. The campsite runs on volunteers and trust. The price reflects that. You can choose your own spot, provided it is not reserved. The sanitary facilities are adequate. There is also a wagon where you can buy snacks.

Yes, the showers could be better. Yes, the terrain could be a bit flatter. Yes, in some places you need a 30-meter cable. Yes, it looks a bit dated. Yes, you have to make your own coffee and tea in the canteen. Yes, that costs 50 cents. 5 stars then? Yes. A wonderful place to stay, peaceful, beautiful for cycling and geocaching. And there's TRUST. €7 per person per night, €2.50 for washing or drying, calculate it yourself, cash in the mailbox, done. Fantastic.
