Camping Sonnenberg

We enjoyed the peace and quiet at Camping Sonnenberg. Delicious rolls in the morning! Johan has been the new manager since September 1, 2025, and he's full of plans for improvements. The village of Müden is very charming, with delicious cakes, among other things. Plenty of cycling opportunities (Lunenburgerheide).

The campsite was taken over by Johan (a Dutchman) a few weeks ago. Johan is enthusiastic, friendly, and helpful, and wants to gradually address and renovate what's needed or outdated. It's a large, beautiful campsite nestled among the trees and woods, with spacious pitches and plenty of opportunities for walking and cycling. The sanitary facilities were a bit dated, but everything was spotlessly clean. Wonderfully hot showers. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet and the natural surroundings.

Beautifully situated campsite, spacious pitches. Lots of birds. Ordered before 5pm, delicious sandwiches in the morning. Beautiful walking routes. Supermarket in the village. Very friendly managers.
