Camping Timmeler Meer

A truly German campsite, maintained to perfection. We stayed for 5 nights, €33 per night with a dog and including electricity. We did a lot of cycling, which is great here. All amenities nearby: restaurants, snack bar, bakery, and supermarket. There are also motorhome pitches outside the gate, €14/18, electricity and showers to be paid separately. It was full when we arrived.

I stayed 4 nights at a campsite in the area. Absolutely fantastic! The people were lovely, and the campsite manager was super friendly. The food and drinks were really great. There's an Edeka supermarket with normal prices just a 10-minute walk away. Water, electricity, etc., are included at the campsite. Four nights for a family of four cost €134. What more could you want? The lake is a 2-minute walk away. Motorboats, pedal boats, and bicycles are all available for rent. We'll definitely be back!

Great spot. Very friendly groundskeeper. Now costs €18 per night.
