Parking Kamela im Wendland

We just parked up and Catherine the owner came to say hello, very friendly. Parking for two next to the fence. Camels are so interesting, the farm is a lovely quiet retreat. No facilities but none needed. You can walk/cycle to the river but for us just a stopover for the night. We went to the farm shop when leaving, different things to buy, we purchased a couple of mugs with pics of the camels on.

A very special place to spend the night with your camper. You must be completely self-sufficient, free of charge but a contribution is appreciated. Very hospitable reception. It is indeed house number 6 and not 2. The Elbe is close by, cycling along the former 'innerdeutsche Grenze', in the middle of the Elbe, remains fascinating. Dömitz is located in the former GDR.
