Hello outdoor friends, our campsite is now ready for proper use. It's still missing the finishing touches, but that's coming. We can definitely offer a fantastic view, as it's located on the southernmost hills of the Dammer Mountains. There's also a place for grilling or making a fire. Electricity and water are guaranteed. The outdoor toilet isn't finished yet. Therefore, the site is more suitable for people who are self-sufficient in this regard. The site is ideal for anyone with a car and a small tent, a car with a 4x4 roof tent, or anything the size of a VW van. Those arriving with something larger can also park on the access road next to the wild rose hedge, also offering a great view. The site is not far from the A1 and is ideal for a stopover. The A1 is invisible. The site is not completely level, so you have to adjust your car a bit. The site is located directly on the Way of St. James. Whether you're looking for a long hike in the Dammer Mountains or a short circular walk after a long drive, both are possible without having to get back in the car. A café/restaurant is within walking distance. The natural swimming pool in Vörden is also beautiful and very close by. You can cycle to Lake Alfsee or the Varus Battle Museum in Kalkriese. Children can pet the ponies.
