Ruhrcamping

A lovely, charming, small campsite in a surprisingly green setting. It's open as usual! You're right on the water. You can rent a SUP or kayak. Note: this campsite is for those aged 16 and over (presumably due to the direct access to the water).

Original parking space directly on the Ruhr in an idyllic location. Offers everything you need in terms of facilities and good quality. Funny details, e.g.: A seat similar to a beach chair, but in an opened (former) garbage container, colorful artistic installations. Quiet location; popular restaurant with beer garden within easy walking distance. I've been there several times and always felt comfortable.
