Hats off to the municipality for this magnificent free camper spot right on the Weser (max. 2 nights) with 4 electricity hookups (€1/kWh), water (€2/100ltr), and a free toilet. In the Netherlands, you would pay at least €30 per night for this. Can be very busy on weekends due to the open beer garden. Occasionally disturbed by excessively loud music from a regular group of people who have had a bit too much to drink; otherwise, they do not cause any disturbance. However, there are many cars driving to and from the site.

Quiet, free parking (electricity available for a fee), toilet available. Only 500 meters to the city.

Beautifully situated, free campsite right on the Weser River. During the day you can hear the road and the train. Both become quiet at night. The railway line behind the campsite also doesn't run at night. So it's very peaceful. Electricity and water are available for a fee; there are no water or waste disposal facilities, but there are trash cans.
