A beautiful, peaceful spot for a visit to Bielefeld. The return trip on a folding bike without assistance is a bit of a challenge, but Uber also runs here.

Great spot, too bad there aren't more pitches. But campers came and went every day, so there was always a chance of finding a spot. There was one regular, the others were all passing through. We stayed here from October 2nd to 5th, 2025. The parking lot was very busy on weekends, and the dump station was practically inaccessible... hence the 4 stars.

Beautiful surroundings, I think it's wonderful for walkers. Cycle to the city center. Lots of shops everywhere. Sparrenburg is nice, but I found the old town meh. Back to the CP, first gear and high ;-).
