City-Campingplatz Düsseldorf-Lörick

We stayed at the campsite for three nights and had a very comfortable stay. The location is good, a 4.8 km bike ride from the city center. The place has charm, even if the aircraft noise is a bit annoying. But you know that in advance when booking a campsite near a commercial airport. The restrooms were always clean, albeit basic, and the staff was very friendly! Prices aren't cheap… Düsseldorf, after all.

we were kindly welcomed by a Dutch speaking lady. the campsite itself is large fields, where you were assigned a spot guided by (we thought) a friendly gentleman. the gentleman explained that the children could choose a go-kart to drive around the campsite, and showed the children where these were. the shower building is a bit outdated, and works on coins, otherwise a nice warm shower for 6 minutes.

Very simple campsite. Not very suitable for campers. You just stand on a grass field in front of the seasonal pitches.... Sanitary facilities very simple, also considering the price. Points for improvement: lower the price for campers, modernize the sanitary building, install lighting on the entire site. Report noise pollution from planes taking off on the website and on campercontact. Price quality ratio is poor.
