Just around the corner, in Robert-Schmidt Straße, opposite the Robert-Schmidt Berufsschule is a very nice shady spot under the trees. If it is busy with cars, it can be difficult to park, but we have now been able to park here 3x in the summer. Some litter; youth hangout? No nuisance. There is a playground in the park, but you can't get to it (easily). No facilities, just parking.

There were six caravans of local residents parked. In addition, you stand tight on the road, trees so satellite reception impossible. Drove to the paid motorhome in Essen.

Information
No designated pitch but toleration of motorhomes. Located directly in a park. Pitch only Monday-Friday from approx. 6 pm and on weekends available. Vocational school and hospital staff otherwise park everything. But outside the times very much space. Traffic at the weekend and at night very low.
