I can't judge the campsite, but as a dog owner, you shouldn't go there. Dogs aren't allowed on the campsite, and you're sent to a very uninviting, fenced-in area on the south square, far from the campsite and the beach. Dogs aren't allowed near the water either. We turned around, asked for a refund, and then found a pet-friendly campsite.

Stayed here for 1 night for 35.50 euros to meet friends in Kalkar. You can't book for 1 night via the website but it is possible upon arrival. Great place on grass and clean sanitary facilities. There is a bar and restaurant but they were closed when we were there.

the price is indeed not really right is with the camper 2 persons and a dog 38.50 persons night but the camping is nice and clean so I think it is worth the price
