Wanderparkplatz Rohren

A fine spot for a visit to Monschau. The sanitary facilities are simple and not really clean. This is because the facilities are freely accessible to everyone. From here, we walked to Monschau, about 5 km, and took the bus back at the end of the afternoon. It was very manageable and enjoyable. The location of the campervan site is good, and Rohren is a lovely little town with very friendly people. We had a good stay.

Good spot with toilet and electricity (cheap). First pay €4 at the machine, then choose a power point to plug in, then switch the selector to your number at the electricity payment machine, and finally throw in a euro. Cycle to Monschau, keeping the terrain as flat as possible: from the campsite, turn left (excellent bike path) to the large transmission mast; here, turn right (Triftweg) towards Höfen, at the end of the road turn right.

Perfect place for a night before or after a visit to Monschau.
