Campingplatz Sonnenwiese

Stayed 2 nights, and cycled part of Emsrad. Nice campsite, beautiful spots. Good sanitary facilities. The smell of the wood fire can be annoying. There are barrels to be able to stoke. No longer of this time

nice campsite! we were there for two nights and it was nicely full during the Easter holidays. great atmosphere without much nuisance. 2nd Easter day was exodus and then super quiet. great sanitary facilities and nice rooms leaking in wooded area. we were on grass / sand, but not muddy so fine. nice place to make walks along the Eems from the campsite or bike rides.

We stayed there from 2 to 4 September. The campsite itself was fine, especially the sanitary facilities. What really bothered us was the fact that the reception and kiosk were closed during the day. You couldn't order sandwiches or ask for information. We had called in advance, then they were open. End of the season? The price wasn't right.
