Stellplatz an der Feuerwehr

A quiet, free parking space; the parking meter is covered. A few minutes' walk to the city center. A 4-minute walk to the REWE supermarket. Perfectly fine for 1 to 2 nights if you're self-sufficient.

We're now at the parking lot near the Feuerwehr, and there's no parking fee, and I don't see a payment machine either. According to a German, it's not necessary.

Arrived unexpectedly in Winterberg, very busy, all campsites full. Great, large parking lot, no amenities, but the town center is only 5 minutes away. No charge. Great.
