WomoPark-Xanten

Close to the center but places are small, also for a camper of 6.40m. Arrival outside reception times (Sat and Sun 11-12h!) difficult for many. Were at the entrance and have never seen so many people searching/asking. Reserved number available but sanitary pass?? Heard from camper that the spa counter opens at 3 pm, among other things for registration. Receptionist on departure completely uncomprehending; a matter of reading carefully and never had a complaint.

Fine CP. The principle of paying for what you use is of course fine. However, we used our own sanitary facilities. Next time we will use them because they are not that expensive. From the place it is not far to the nice town. A bit further walk is the archaeological park. We had to get used to it because the first impression was: very sterile and artificial but in the end we were still impressed. You have to be able to walk well!

We had a wonderful time here and we left sanitary facilities for what they are. great to walk into Xanten and easily visit the museum. Friendly welcome and plenty of space on site. I didn't find the entrance really strange, but that's personal!
