Camping Sonnenstrand

Absolutely disgusting, the toilets were filthy, and the reception from the gentleman was incredibly unfriendly...not a single smile! Really expensive for a one-night stay with such appalling service! The only positive point...it's next to Bacharach, which is definitely worth a visit!

Very nice campsite and the welcome was friendly too. We picked out our own spot right by the water. The place is small but I definitely found it worth it, as well as the climb to the youth hostel… it’s beautiful what they’ve made of it.

We arrived late in the evening and left again in the morning. Nice place and surroundings. Friendly Dutch-speaking lady at reception. Sanitary facilities a bit outdated but clean. Other than that, we didn't use any facilities.
