Stellplatz Sonnenstrand

Great location next to the river (there are trains and boats passing all day and night but that is most places on the rhine). Friendly woman at reception. Price was either 18 euro a night with electric and toilet on a sandy area or 35 euro on a grassy area with showers. 18€ was a great price. Would recommend.

August 24-26 Camping site on the Rhine under Dutch management, polite welcome, sandy, dusty site, showers and toilets are okay...the restaurant only served meat dishes, unfortunately...Bacharach is within walking distance...price for 2 nights, 2 people: €36 + electricity extra + €1 per shower token is okay...

We were at the campsite for only 21 hours and they charged us for 2 days… they didn't tell us when we entered that we had to leave at 12 noon 😏… When we asked why we had to pay double, the employee spoke to us in a very arrogant tone showing us the door 😏 The bathrooms were very dirty… the place is beautiful because of the nature, no other reason… See you soon 👋🏼
