Knaus Campingpark Bernkastel Kues

Absolutely fantastic!!! I highly recommend it. Very friendly and helpful owners, a beautiful spot right on the Moselle River, clean sanitary facilities, showers even with hoses, and a small, cozy bistro at reception. What more could you want? Absolutely fantastic!!!

Overall, a nice campsite close to the center of Bernkastel-Kues, and it's a great place for cycling. But I do find €48 per night plus having to pay €1.00 per kWh for electricity quite high for this campsite and the pitches. We thought we'd order a pizza, but unfortunately, it was cut out of the plastic (so it was frozen) and then they charged €12.50 for a pizza. Unfortunately, this is a first-class blunder. We won't be going back to this campsite.

The only campsite in Bernkastel, and the price reflects that: €35/night for 2 people + dog with an ACSI card; electricity included but limited to 5 kWh, and every additional kWh = €1. Too few showers for such a large campsite, but the sanitary facilities are very clean. It is well and quietly located, 1.5 km from the town.
