Camping Auf dem Salmenfang

We arrived around 11:00 AM, check-in was at 3:00 PM. Another German camper had called the manager and advised us to wait until 3:00 PM for a spot. It turned out the manager lived in a caravan 20 meters away on the campsite. The German camper wasn't given a spot because the lady said it was full, even though the German man was allowed to choose his own. This behavior is completely unacceptable. We waited four hours and were sent away like a toddler. It's a shame, it's a beautiful spot.

The sanitary facilities are not great, but hey, you can use your camper for that, right? Electricity and service point are provided, but no discharge point for grey water. What makes up for everything is the view of the Rhine and the friendly atmosphere in the “Biergarten”. Relax!

Very nicely located campsite right on the Rhine. All amenities available. We had a very nice stay with you. Will definitely come back!
