Campingpark Clausensee

Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly receptionist who spoke good English. The restrooms were well-maintained and clean. The food in the restaurant was good, and indeed, self-service. You receive a buzzer, and when it goes off, you can collect your food. The food was good, but the drinks (cola and house brand Fanta) were undrinkable, but it's a matter of taste. Dogs are not allowed in the large lake, nor in the small stream where you have a spot, but they are allowed further down the stream.

The messy and crowded campsite has good sanitary facilities, but too few in proportion. The restaurant is unfriendly. And it doesn't mention anywhere that it's self-service; you have to order from the very back, which isn't mentioned. I won't be coming here a second time.

The reception was friendly, and there was even a welcome gift for the dog. You get the feeling that you can spend time here with your dog, although unfortunately, there are very limited options. Dogs are not allowed on or in the lake, nor in kayaks. There are two streams here; dogs are allowed in one, which runs alongside the lake, but not in the other, which runs into it. Dog stations are available. Restrooms are clean.
