Campingplatz Oranienstein

This campsite is located on the waterfront, about 10 km from the A3 motorway. We were allowed to choose our own spot. There are many permanent pitches, but plenty of room for passing visitors. There are two restroom facilities; showers cost one euro. A great restaurant is within walking distance (1.3 km). Price for 2 adults, 1 dog, and a campervan: €31.55

We stayed for two nights in a campervan. I was able to choose my own pitch. The sanitary facilities were clean and all amenities were available. Besides many permanent pitches and long-term stays, there's plenty of room for campervans. The town of Diez is within easy walking distance of the campsite. There's plenty of historical interest in the surrounding area, and there are also lovely hiking trails nearby. The campsite has several play areas for children. In short, something for everyone!
