Good wines, friendly wine sales staff. Unfortunately, the power supply was very poor. We and many others had no power that night. When we reported this to reception, the friendliness was over. We decided to leave early rather than spend another night without power. We had paid for the electricity for two nights, but they didn't want to hear about a refund!

Excellent camper site, including excellent service, etc., from Sat. to Sun. Wonderfully quiet at night. Some traffic noise on other days. €12 excluding electricity. Friendly manager. Complimentary bottle of wine. Cycle to Valwigerberg for a beautiful view (straight across the bridge, 10 km). Or walk to Kammerforst (1 km) behind the CP on the gravel path, then turn left and continue straight uphill for a magnificent view. Bring that bottle of wine!

Great location, pay at the machine. €15 with electricity. Excellent location for Cochem and Beilstein. Didn't see a manager. We had a delicious meal at the restaurant on the corner. Reservations are recommended; we were lucky to get the last table. Booking is definitely necessary.
