Restaurant Burg Ramstein

We stayed here for the past two days and received a very warm welcome. We were able to park the campervan and had indoor power. We enjoyed two wonderful days of delicious food after our lovely walks. Hats off to this location! We will definitely be back. Kind regards, Maria and Bart.

When you drive into the road you think... I hope I don't get oncoming traffic. The road is narrow, but there are enough inlets to pass if necessary. It is quiet and there are no signs anywhere. Once at the top you can stand at the restaurant. Great place. Wonderfully quiet. No facilities. Except electricity by means of a long extension cord. For hikers... a beautiful area with magnificent rocks and viewpoints. We will come back

indeed a challenging way up but if the garbage truck can go up (it did before us) then it will work with the camper too. When we arrived at the top we found a spot on the parking lot in front of the hotel/restaurant no electricity needed. We had a great schnitzel for less than €40– incl. 4 half liters of white beer. The next day we went for a nice walk and left again in the afternoon. Costs for the overnight stay €10,—.
