Campingplatz Burg Lahneck

A campsite in a prime location with fantastic views and spacious pitches. The site is somewhat "Prussian" in its management, but still very pleasant and friendly. The restrooms are a bit dated, but very clean and tidy. There's a good pizzeria right next door and a restaurant near the adjacent castle. Showers cost €0.50 for 8 minutes; electricity costs €1 per kWh, and they cost €0.50 per kWh. If that's not a problem, you'll find peace and relaxation here.

We arrived and spoke to the 80+ owner. There was room for 1 night. We wanted to come with 2 adults and 2 labradors. Because of our 2 dogs there was suddenly no more room. I wonder how long this place will exist until a new owner comes along. Fortunately, 2 passers-by pointed out another beautiful place to us, campingplatz bad ems.

we arrived friday evening after closing time and we were welcomed friendly and guided to a spot. could choose another spot the next morning but we didn't. nice camping with a good pizzeria next to it. sanitary facilities are indeed dated but clean.
