On winter tour we spent a quiet night on a sloping place. In the evening 3 cars, at night and in the morning all alone, at departure 2 cars. This clear view of the castle and landscape offers here no winery courtyard! 😊 However, now a different situation and view as high-frequency visit times!

In the meantime, the Ordnungsamt checks (and collects) more often because camping behavior is not permitted there. We were sent away there late in the evening.

quiet parking in wine region - use GPS coordinates - castle of Hambach 1,5km - in the middle of vineyards - as a result of this, tourists visit the weekend - overnight accommodation for campers is legal - no facilities - center 500m
