Pleasant campsite, spacious pitches, lots of greenery, quiet, and remarkably clean sanitary facilities. A friendly welcome. Within walking distance of supermarkets and the town. Other towns are easily accessible via the train station.

A lovely, quiet campsite, truly "in the forest." Well-maintained sanitary facilities. Friendly and helpful staff. Good price. The ground is mostly quite uneven. Saarburg is a pleasant town. You can cycle to Trier or along the Saar to Mettlach. Taking the train there and cycling back is also an option. Highly recommended.

Clean bathrooms, bread service. With the very hot weather (36 degrees Celsius), it was lovely in the shade from noon onwards. Through trees. Beautiful bike rides along the Saar and to the Moselle, etc. Saarburg is a charming and beautiful town with many shops and restaurants. We paid €30 per night, including electricity. One downside: we only speak German.
