Technik Museum Speyer

Speyer is always a good choice for us: close to the city, clean sanitary facilities, friendly staff, and a decent pitch. Everything you need is there. We'll be back.

Good camping. Clean toilets and showers. Sinks for dishes and clothes . Plenty hot water. Pitches quite close but not bad. Reception nice and a small bar you can use. Vending machines for pizza and drinks. Easy walk to town. Museum worth a visit . Quiet at night.

Fine for visiting the museum. Very small pitches, a striking number of super-large caravans that, judging by the extensions, stay there for a longer period. €20 for the night with a camper, 2 people, and electricity, plus a €4 reduction at the museum. Bread roll service at the hotel is pricey. To my surprise, I paid €2.50 for 2 plain rolls. At the back (pitches 27 and beyond) a lot of noise from the motorway. The airfield is not busy and causes little disturbance. Museum is great!
