nice campsite on the Sauer. Baker unfortunately bankrupt so no more bread service. Very friendly Dutch manager. We came from a trip through southern Germany. You can easily pay 40 euros per night for a camper place there.
Everything expensive, you even have to pay for the washing up water. You pay €3 connection costs for electricity. According to the manager, this is mandatory in Germany, but I can't find anything about it on the internet. On the other side of the bridge you are in Luxembourg. a nice lawn by the way. the previous reviews are a bit too positive for me. they are all called French. I think they are friends of the manager.
lees meerWhat a PEARL of a campsite. We have been coming here for a few days for 7 years now. Place on the water is slightly more expensive but well worth it! price is no longer correct. Now around € 28 in water, showering and warm dishwater € 0.50. Beautiful cycling to Beaufort, Echternach or Diekirch. Vianden can also climb well. Pizzas around the corner. Food at Hotel Dimmer excellent! Bread service unfortunately no longer, but cycling 3 km flat is a good bakery!
