At the fountain in the green

A picture-perfect campsite in the middle of nature near Gersheim-Medelsheim. Surrounded by meadows and fields, this meadow is located directly next to an old well through which spring water comes directly from the earth. You are completely away from roads and houses, literally in the middle of the countryside on a community property. You can park under the trees in the shade, and the lawn is a little sloping, so we recommend chocks for a good night's sleep. There is no infrastructure at all, apart from the spring water. Access is via a long dirt road. This is easy to do for a bus or van and is rewarded by the total isolation and peace. The lower parking space is right next to the fountain in the small parking bay. The two upper ones are under the trees on the meadow. So you have to drive a few meters across the meadow and then you will be standing across the slope, so you should have two wedges with you. In Medelsheim, turn off Kapellenstrasse into "Zollstrasse" and keep going straight along the dirt road, at the end of the dirt road turn right. Pass the pond on the left, turn right onto the next dirt road, past a house, continue straight on and then you will reach the parking space. The fountain is in a depression
