An der Schleif, Mettlach

A wonderful place for a night. When I scanned the QR code for payment, it said it wasn't possible because it wasn't in my country. I downloaded the app from the app store, and it was done in no time. Now we're standing here alone in the rain with a view of the water.

I've been to this place many times. It's a beautiful, peaceful spot on the Saar River. It's a great base for visiting Mettlich. It's a lovely area for cycling along the Saar. There's a facility for disposing of gray and black water, and for collecting drinking water. However, there are no waste bins.

If you don't need facilities, but you prefer the legal option of parking not wild then this is a gem. Next to a river and great access to cycling and hiking. Bar and restaurant 500 metres along the river. Easy payment through the app.
