Schützenhaus an der Bode

We spent one night here during the hottest week of the year. Tall willows provide excellent shade from the south. The integrated canoe launch on the Bode River offers great entertainment – mostly from swimming dogs. The site is clean and quiet, as it's somewhat secluded (but there's a restaurant next door). We couldn't find a toilet. For that reason, the price is definitely too high.

The camper place belongs to the municipality. Booking can be made via Alpaca Camping, but can be done on site via a QR code. There is a men's and women's toilet. We think it belongs to the canoe rental company. Cracked, but clean when we were there. There are no further facilities.
