Wij zijn niet blijven staan. €18 voor een parkeerplaats aan een drukke weg.  Je kunt ook €8 betalen voor vier uur.  Stadje is dichtbij en erg leuk

We didn't stay. €18 for a parking space on a busy road. You can also pay €8 for four hours. The town is nearby and very nice.

Prima plaats om de stad te bezoeken. 
Het sanistation is weer in werking. Voor € 1,- kun je 10 minuten water tanken.

Great place to visit the city.
The sanitary station is back in operation. For €1 you can fill up with water for 10 minutes.

Ja, je betaald er €18, inc. toeristenbelasting. dat is inderdaad wel veel voor een plaats met weinig voorzieningen. Maar het geld komt ten goede van de stad, en eigenlijk kan je het ook zien als een soort intree voor deze mooie werelderfgoed stad. Een museum vraagt ook entree. En deze stad is eigenlijk een museum. 

Yes, you pay €18, inc. tourist tax. That is indeed a lot for a place with few facilities. But the money benefits the city, and you can actually see it as a kind of entrance to this beautiful world heritage city. A museum also charges an entrance fee. And this city is actually a museum.
