Campingplatz Magdeburg

We had a lovely, peaceful weekend at this small campsite. Yes, it's very remote, but you know that beforehand. We had a well-maintained spot with a view of the Elbe, which also came at a price. The groundskeeper was very friendly and made an effort to look after his guests; the receptionist was rather grumpy! You can find out about the prices beforehand, then you won't have to complain! The east doesn't have anything to give away either.

If you ever want to experience the East in the time before the wall came down then come here! The people are as they were back then, people unfriendly east towards west, the grounds and the area are all junk, everything is locked with big locks, I have never seen anything like it before, I was glad to be away again!
